You will need:
Flashcard of letter G (upper and lower case), sticker, sketch pen

Pre-planning:
Write the letter G (upper and lower case) on the sticker (optional).

Helpful information:
Letter game is the second step in introducing a letter.
This step focuses on recalling the phonic sound of the letter, identifying the letter (upper and lower case), and revisiting the words beginning from the letter.
This is accomplished through play-based activities for the child.

Let’s Go:
• Talk to the child that we have a few objects in the house-kitchen that starts with the same sound. Say, we will play a game.
• Explain the game to the child, the facilitator will point out the objects, and the child must identify the objects. Once the object is identified and named, the child must put the sticker on that object. Emphasize on /g/ sound. E.g. gas, garlic, glass, garbage bags, green vegetables.
• Repeat the activity a few times and draw the child’s attention towards all letters starting with G.
